Why Volunteer?

Volunteering often turns out to be an enriching and personal growth experience. You will learn about yourself, your community, and its different needs and concerns. Volunteering is about giving freely of your time and expertise to do something useful. In return you get the satisfaction of time and effort well spent. Volunteering can benefit you in many other ways.

You can:

In one hour, you can help a child learn to read.

In two hours, you can serve hot meals to seniors or the homeless.

In three hours, you can sort food and help fight hunger, walk homeless dogs or spruce up a neighborhood park.

The range of opportunities is huge. Whatever skills and experience you have, there is something that you can do. Match your gift to the need by becoming a volunteer.
