Leave a Legacy
Your charitable bequest takes only a few minutes to create but lives on forever. It is simply a distribution from your estate regardless of size.- There are different kinds of bequests. However, each must use very specific language to indicate who specifically receives either a stated sum or percentage of your estate, how it is to be calculated, when it will be given, and from what asset account and only if there is enough money in the estate/account to cover it .
- Donations can be made from your IRA, TSA, 401k, life insurance, Deferred Compensation plan, or nonqualified account/s, will and/or trusts. The changeover is easy by obtaining the appropriate Change of Beneficiary and/or codicil/s from either your attorney, appropriate and qualified investment and/or legal counsel.
